We are excited to announce that CBK Rotterdam & ALL CAPS are joining forces to create a platform regarding all your questions about Independent Public Art. As advisors, we’ll be answering questions about street art in the city from now on. This way, we can contribute even more to the development and visibility of street art in Rotterdam.
As a first official collaboration we have realized an Open Art Wall! What is it? It’s the first legal street art wall in Rotterdam! So, we’re thrilled about it, and we’d love to invite you to the opening! When? Well, very soon! October 15th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM!
During the opening, the first artworks will be created live by six artists, including Danny Rumbl, Kenneth Letsoin, Sicovecas, and two students from the Willem de Kooning Academy. There will also be a fun program (with catering, of course) by local social entrepreneurs like Difrenti Rutu, Blije Boon, and Panna Knock Out.
The Open Art Wall is located in Rotterdams Tij in Stadionpark, Rotterdam-Zuid, next to Padelclub Feijenoord (Korte Stadionweg 107). The entire initiative was set up by the Municipality of Rotterdam (Culture Department), Rotterdams Tij, and, of course, us.
On this website we will answer the FAQ regarding public art projects, but we will also organise events with knowledge programs, speed dates and networking.
